Mordor 1.1 for WINDOWS -- PUBLIC (ShareWare) files. WHAT MORDOR'S CREATORS SAY: Mordor is a large-scale Windows Fantasy Role-Playing game that is hitting the market with a bang! Features include 256 colors, action sound FX, Music Score, hundreds of items & monsters, and a gaming system so large, one can play for thousands of hours! WHAT I SAY: This game is excellent! Very addicting with an extremely well-developed and in-depth gaming system. Graphics, Sound, and Music are just great! The game is a cross between Moria and Bard's Tale. Anyone who liked Moria, Hack, Rogue, Bard's Tale, Wizardry, Temple of Apshai, or any of the many other old Dungeon Exploration games will love it!! This shareware version has "only" 3 dungeon levels, but they are so large that they will keep you going for hours. Fun and challenging. What about the game-system? There are about a dozen races to choose from, Good/Neutral/Evil Alignment, about a dozen guilds (such as Warrior, Wizard, Thief). You can join multiple guilds to become a "multi-classed" character at any time. You get skills and abilities from each guild you join. You can have up to 4 players and 2 companions (people/monsters you find in the dungeon) in your party. There tons of Magical Items and Spells. There is even a library and records which change and update as you play the game (if you discover a new monstet/item it appears in the library with your character as the discoverer). Records and/or logs tell some of the major things your characters do and are like a high-score list (telling who killed the meanest monster, who got the highest attribute, ect). Whew! Did not mean to go on so long. Obviously, I liked the game.
